PART 2: The Light Beneath the Waterfall
Moonlight shimmered across the enchanted forest as silver mist drifted between ancient glowing trees.
The young girl stood beside the golden horse near a crystal waterfall, her reflection trembling softly in the glowing river below.
Everything felt peaceful.
Too peaceful.
Then suddenly—
the horse lifted its head sharply.
The glowing flowers surrounding the river began dimming one by one.
A cold wind moved through the forest.
The girl’s smile slowly faded.
“What’s wrong…?” she whispered softly.
The golden horse stepped protectively in front of her.
Its luminous eyes fixed deep into the dark forest beyond the waterfall.
Something was watching them.
The magical atmosphere changed instantly.
The glowing river began rippling violently while distant whispers echoed beneath the trees like forgotten voices carried through the wind.
The girl slowly backed away.
Then—
she noticed something impossible inside the water.
Not her reflection.
Another child standing behind her.
Pale.
Silent.
Motionless.
The girl’s breathing stopped.
Slow cinematic close-up—
fear rises in her trembling eyes as the reflection slowly lifts its hand toward her from beneath the glowing river surface.
But behind her—
nothing is there.
The golden horse suddenly stomps the ground hard.
A burst of golden light explodes across the forest, sending glowing leaves spiraling through the air beneath the moonlight.
The dark reflection vanishes instantly.
Silence crashes back across the enchanted forest.
The girl clutches the horse tightly, shaking.
Then softly—
almost afraid to ask—
she whispers:
“Why is the forest trying to warn me?”
The golden horse slowly lowers its head beside hers as glowing particles drift through the air like tiny stars.
And deep beneath the waterfall—
something ancient quietly opens its eyes.
