The Truth Everyone Saw
The man carefully held the pregnant woman in his arms.
“Stay with me… help is coming.”
She nodded weakly, fighting back tears.
Across the room, the other woman tried to slip toward the exit.
“I didn’t do anything.”
“She’s lying.”
A quiet voice stopped her.
An elderly waiter stepped forward.
“I saw everything.”
The room fell silent.
He pointed toward the shattered glass.
“She pushed her.”
Several guests slowly nodded.
“So did we.”
The attacker’s face lost all color.
Moments later, paramedics rushed through the open doors and gently placed the injured woman onto a stretcher.
Before she was taken away, she reached for the man’s hand.
“Our baby…”
He squeezed her fingers gently.
“We’re staying together.”
Outside, flashing emergency lights reflected across the penthouse windows.
Inside, no one defended the attacker anymore.
Because the truth hadn’t been hidden for long—
