Even the soft hum of the engines seemed louder.

“You own this aircraft?” she asked.
A few passengers exchanged skeptical looks.
The flight attendant calmly placed her badge on the table.
“Yes.”
The billionaire laughed nervously.
“That’s impossible.”
The woman simply smiled.
Moments later, the cockpit door opened.
The captain stepped into the cabin.
To everyone’s surprise, he walked directly toward the flight attendant.
“Good afternoon, Ms. Bennett,” he said respectfully.
“The board members are ready for the conference call whenever you are.”
Every passenger froze.
The billionaire’s smile disappeared.
The captain wasn’t joking.

Ms. Bennett thanked him and nodded.
The captain returned to the cockpit.

One passenger finally spoke.
“Why are you serving drinks if you own the jet?”

Years earlier, she explained, she had worked as a flight attendant while attending night classes.

Most people told her those dreams were unrealistic.

Years later, she purchased the very aircraft she was flying on today.
The billionaire shifted uncomfortably.
“Why wear the uniform?”
Ms. Bennett looked around the cabin.

Several passengers suddenly understood.

She knew exactly what Ms. Bennett meant.
Then an assistant emerged from the rear office section carrying a tablet.
“Ma’am, the acquisition documents have arrived.”
The billionaire glanced at the screen.
The logo displayed on the tablet made her heart skip.

Slowly, she looked up.
“What acquisition?”
The assistant hesitated.
Then handed the tablet to Ms. Bennett.
Ms. Bennett reviewed the documents and signed electronically.

The assistant nodded.
“The transaction was finalized ten minutes ago.”
The cabin remained frozen.
The billionaire could barely speak.
“You bought my company?”
Ms. Bennett calmly closed the tablet.
“Controlling interest, actually.”
Several passengers gasped.
The billionaire leaned back in disbelief.
Just an hour earlier, she had treated Ms. Bennett like a servant.
Now she was discovering that the woman she dismissed had become the majority owner of the company she spent decades building.
