PART 2: The Princess Who Rose From The Abyss
The ocean did not calm.
It obeyed.
Waves that once roared against the jagged cliffs now bent unnaturally inward, as if the sea itself had become aware of what had awakened beneath its surface.
The guards on the cliff edge stumbled backward in horror.
One dropped his spear.
Another fell to his knees, whispering prayers that no god answered.
The king remained still.
But his hand—still raised from the execution command—was now trembling.
Far below, in the storm-black water, silence had been replaced by something ancient.
Alive.
The princess floated in the depths like a forgotten star, her white dress drifting weightlessly around her. The glowing crown above her head intensified, casting shifting blue light across the endless abyss.
The dragon sigil on her throat pulsed once.
Then again.
Above the surface—
CRACK!
Lightning struck the ocean so violently that the horizon split into white fire for a single moment.
And then she rose.
Slowly at first.
Then violently.
The ocean erupted upward as if the sea itself was being pulled into the sky. Towers of water spiraled around her ascending body, forming a storm-born throne beneath her feet.
The princess opened her eyes.
And the storm answered.
On the cliffside, guards screamed as the wind became blades.
King (shouting): “Hold your ground!”
But his voice was swallowed by the roar of the rising sea.
The princess hovered above the crashing waves, water and lightning twisting around her like living chains she had just broken.
Behind her—
The ocean split.
A massive shape moved beneath the surface.
Then emerged.
A colossal dragon made of glowing blue energy surged from the depths, its wings tearing through the storm clouds as if the sky itself was fabric.
The cliffs shook.
The torches were extinguished instantly.
The guards ran.
But there was nowhere to go.
The princess turned slowly toward the cliff.
Her gaze locked onto the king.
For the first time—
The ruler of the kingdom looked afraid.
Truly afraid.
Princess (coldly): “You stood above me when I was powerless.”
The dragon roared behind her, shaking the sky.
Princess: “Now you stand below me.”
The king stepped back instinctively, his royal robes whipping violently in the wind.
King (hoarse): “You are nothing but a child—”
A flash of lightning cut him off.
The princess lifted her hand slightly.
And the ocean responded immediately.
A massive wall of water rose behind her, towering higher than the cliffs themselves.
The guards screamed again as the sea threatened to swallow everything.
The king’s composure finally broke.
King: “STOP— I ORDER YOU!”
But his words meant nothing anymore.
The princess tilted her head slightly.
Almost pitying him.
Princess: “You don’t order the sea.”
She lowered her hand.
And the wall of water began to move.
Not forward like a wave.
But upward.
Like judgment descending from the sky.
The dragon roared again, circling her as lightning wrapped around its body like burning chains.
The king fell to his knees at last, his crown slipping slightly.
For centuries, he had ruled through fear.
Now fear had a new face.
And it was looking directly at him.
The princess stepped forward through the air itself, walking above the storm like it was solid ground.
Princess (whispering): “You threw me into the sea…”
She paused as thunder cracked behind her.
Princess: “But the sea chose me.”
The wave behind her surged higher.
Higher than the cliff.
Higher than the palace behind it.
The king raised his hands desperately—
But it was already over.
The ocean rose.
And the dragon screamed into the storm as the kingdom beneath the cliffs prepared to learn what it meant to anger the depths.
