PART 2 — “The Wolf Protocol”
Red emergency lights flashed violently through the underground bunker while warning alarms screamed across the concrete corridors.
Smoke poured from shattered ceiling panels.
Gunfire echoed through the vault complex like thunder trapped beneath the earth.
And sliding across the floor between Kara and the General—
was a small metallic device blinking with a pulsing red light.
Kara dove instantly.
The General reached for it at the exact same moment.
BOOM.
Another burst of gunfire exploded through the hallway.
Concrete shattered beside them while sparks sprayed across the bunker walls.
Kara grabbed the device first and rolled hard behind a steel support pillar.
The General slammed against the vault door breathing heavily.
His expensive uniform now covered in dust and blood beneath the flashing red lights.
“Kara, listen to me—”
“No.”
Her cold voice cut through the alarms instantly.
Smoke drifted around her silhouette while she slowly rose holding both the blinking device and the handgun.
“You lost the right to explain anything five years ago.”
Somewhere deeper inside the bunker—
soldiers screamed.
Automatic weapons rattled violently through the underground corridors.
The General’s expression hardened.
“You have no idea what’s coming.”
Kara stepped forward slowly.
The black wolf tattoo stretched beneath tears in her combat shirt while emergency lights flickered across her face.
“Operation Fenrir.”
The General froze.
For the first time since the bunker attack began—
fear appeared in his eyes.
“You found the files…”
Kara’s jaw tightened.
“I found what was left of my team.”
Silence crushed the corridor.
Only alarms.
Smoke.
Distant gunfire.
The blinking device in Kara’s hand reflected against the steel vault door behind them.
A biometric trigger.
The General slowly looked toward it.
Then back at her.
“That briefcase cannot leave this bunker.”
Kara raised the handgun higher.
“Watch me.”
Suddenly—
the bunker trembled violently.
A deafening explosion shook the underground facility.
The giant vault door behind the General began slowly opening with a massive metallic groan.
Cold white light spilled through the smoke-filled corridor.
Kara’s expression changed instantly.
Because inside the vault—
was not money.
Not weapons.
Rows and rows of black cryogenic chambers stretched deep into the underground darkness.
Human silhouettes floated motionless behind frozen glass.
Dozens of them.
Soldiers.
Experiments.
Ghosts.
The General stared at the opening vault in horror.
“No…”
One cryogenic chamber suddenly flickered alive.
Then another.
And another.
WARNING LIGHTS flashed across the bunker ceiling.
AUTOMATED REVIVAL SEQUENCE INITIATED.
Kara slowly stepped toward the vault entrance beneath the screaming alarms.
Her breathing became uneven for the first time.
Because printed across every chamber—
was the same insignia burned onto her back.
A black wolf.
The Wolf Protocol.
The General backed away in panic.
“You don’t understand what they are!”
Kara stared silently at the awakening chambers glowing through the smoke.
Then quietly—
“They were soldiers.”
A loud CRACK echoed inside one of the frozen pods.
A hand slammed violently against the inside glass.
Another pod shattered open beside it.
Steam exploded outward into the bunker corridor.
And standing beneath the flashing red emergency lights—
Kara finally realized the terrifying truth.
Her team was never buried.
They were stored.
