PART 2: The Little Girl Returned With the Dead Leader’s Ring
The biker bar fell completely silent beneath the hanging smoke and dim yellow lights.
Nobody laughed anymore.
Nobody touched their drinks.
Every biker stared at the silver wolf-head ring resting on the little girl’s finger.
Because only one man ever wore that ring.
Ronan Wolfe.
Founder of the Wolves of Mercy motorcycle club.
The man everyone believed died fifteen years earlier.
The scarred biker leader slowly stepped backward, all color draining from his face.
“Where did you get that?”
The little girl’s eyes never left his.
“My father gave it to me before they took him.”
Heavy silence crushed the room.
Several older bikers lowered their heads instantly.
Because deep down—
they always suspected Ronan’s death wasn’t an accident.
The child stepped closer through the smoke-filled bar.
“My father said the wolves protect family.”
Her small voice shook slightly now.
“So why did nobody protect him?”
The words hit harder than a punch.
The scarred leader removed his gloves slowly, revealing an old wolf tattoo burned across his hand.
“I tried,” he whispered.
Then suddenly—
a glass shattered near the back of the room.
One biker looked terrified.
Another started backing toward the exit.
The little girl noticed immediately.
And so did everyone else.
The scarred leader turned slowly toward the nervous biker.
“You told us Ronan died in the fire.”
Sweat rolled down the man’s face.
“He did.”
But nobody believed him anymore.
The little girl reached into her coat pocket and pulled out a folded photograph.
In it—
a wounded Ronan sat beside a little girl wearing the same silver wolf ring.
Written across the bottom in faded ink were the words:
If anything happens to me…
trust nobody wearing the serpent mark.
The scarred biker leader’s expression turned deadly.
Because hidden beneath the nervous biker’s sleeve—
a serpent tattoo was barely visible.
Chairs scraped violently across the wooden floor.
Several bikers stood instantly.
The man bolted for the door—
but a massive biker slammed it shut before he could escape.
The little girl stared at him with tears finally filling her eyes.
“You killed my father.”
The man’s silence answered everything.
And beneath the roaring thunder outside—
the Wolves of Mercy realized the traitor had been sitting among them for years.
