Ambulance sirens echo through the Tennessee woods while paramedics rush down the muddy slope toward the injured biker.
But the biker’s eyes never leave little Avery.
Tears mix with dirt and blood on his face as he struggles to speak.
Biker (weak emotional voice):
“How do you know that name…?”
Avery gently holds his hand.
Little Girl (soft whisper):
“She said you promised you’d come home.”
The biker completely breaks down crying.
Nearby, Avery’s frightened mother watches in stunned silence while paramedics begin treating the biker beside the wrecked motorcycle.
Then—
the biker slowly reaches into his leather vest and pulls out an old faded photograph.
In the picture—
the same biker stands smiling beside a young woman named Lily.
The mother’s face turns pale as realization slowly hits.
Mother (quiet shocked voice):
“Lily… was your wife?”
The biker nods weakly through tears.
Biker (broken whisper):
“She died before our daughter was born…”
The woods fall silent.
Avery stares at the photograph calmly.
Little Girl (gentle voice):
“She says she never stopped loving you.”
The biker begins crying harder while paramedics carefully lift him onto the stretcher.
As the ambulance doors close—
the biker reaches toward Avery one last time.
Biker (emotional whisper):
“Thank you… for bringing me home.”
