PART 2: The Girl Who Returned With the Biker’s Lost Past

The biker stared at the little girl like the world had suddenly stopped turning.

Around them, the noisy biker yard slowly fell silent.

A few mechanics stopped working.
Chains stopped rattling.
Even the laughter near the garage faded away.

The giant biker lowered himself to one knee, unable to take his eyes off her.

“What did you say your mother’s name was?” he asked carefully.

“Anna.”

The word hit him harder than any punch ever could.

His name was Cade Walker, former enforcer of the Iron Wolves motorcycle club. A man feared across three states.

But hearing Anna’s name made him look broken.

The little girl held onto the straps of her tiny backpack nervously. “Mom said you’d recognize me.”

Cade swallowed hard. “What’s your name, kid?”

“Lucy.”

A painful breath escaped his chest.

Anna once told him that if they ever had a daughter, she wanted to name her Lucy.

Back then, they were young.
Before the violence.
Before the betrayal.
Before Cade disappeared without saying goodbye.

“You can’t be…” he whispered.

Lucy slowly pulled something from her pocket.

An old silver guitar pick hanging from a chain.

Cade’s eyes widened instantly.

Years ago, he gave that guitar pick to Anna after singing to her beside a desert bonfire during a long ride through Nevada.

The Debt That Set Them Free

Nobody else knew about it.

Nobody.

“Where did you get that?” he asked.

“My mom wore it every day.”

Cade looked away, emotions crashing through him all at once.

For ten years, he believed Anna hated him.

Because the night he vanished, someone told him she had betrayed the Wolves to save herself.

So Cade rode away before the club could go after her.

But now…

None of it made sense anymore.

Lucy looked up at him carefully. “Mom said you left because somebody lied to you.”

Cade’s face darkened instantly.

Across the yard, several older bikers were suddenly watching very closely.

Especially one man standing beside the garage door.

Rex Holloway.

The current vice president of the Iron Wolves.

And the same man who delivered the message about Anna all those years ago.

Rex slowly stepped forward, forcing a smile. “Cade… maybe this isn’t the best place for this conversation.”

Cade stood up slowly.

The air around him changed.

The Fall That Changed Everything

Dangerous.
Heavy.

Lucy noticed it immediately.

“My mom said if I ever found you…” she whispered softly, “…I should warn you not to trust the Wolves.”

The entire yard went still.

Rex’s smile vanished.

Cade turned toward him slowly. “What did you do?”

Before Rex could answer, the sound of motorcycles echoed from the highway outside the yard.

Fast.

Too fast.

A younger biker ran through the gate in panic.

“Riders coming in armed!”

Then he stopped after seeing Lucy.

His face turned pale.

“Oh no…”

Cade stepped protectively in front of the little girl.

“What is it?”

The biker looked terrified.

“The Black Vipers found her first.”
