The young boy returned to the same bench with his little green lunchbox.<\/p>\n

He looked around.<\/p>\n

Hoping.<\/p>\n

Waiting.<\/p>\n

But the little girl wasn’t there.<\/p>\n

He sighed softly.<\/p>\n

Then began opening his lunch.<\/p>\n

Just then\u2014<\/p>\n

a black SUV slowly pulled up beside the park.<\/p>\n

A well-dressed businessman stepped out.<\/p>\n

The same man who had watched everything the day before.<\/p>\n

He walked toward the boy with a warm smile.<\/p>\n

“Mind if I sit here?”<\/p>\n

The boy nodded.<\/p>\n

“Sure.”<\/p>\n

For a moment, neither of them spoke.<\/p>\n

Then the businessman reached into his briefcase and placed a brand-new lunchbox on the bench.<\/p>\n

The boy looked confused.<\/p>\n

“Is… that for me?”<\/p>\n

The man smiled.<\/p>\n

“It is.”<\/p>\n

The boy slowly opened it.<\/p>\n

Inside were two sandwiches.<\/p>\n

Fresh fruit.<\/p>\n

Juice.<\/p>\n

Cookies.<\/p>\n

And a handwritten note.<\/p>\n

“Kindness always comes back.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

The boy looked up.<\/p>\n

“You didn’t have to do this.”<\/p>\n

The businessman smiled.<\/p>\n

“No.”<\/p>\n

“But I wanted to.”<\/p>\n

he handed the boy another small paper bag.<\/p>\n

“Would you do me one favor?”<\/p>\n

The boy nodded.<\/p>\n

“What is it?”<\/p>\n

The businessman pointed toward the park entrance.<\/p>\n

Standing there was the same little girl.<\/p>\n

Her clothes were cleaner now.<\/p>\n

Her hair neatly brushed.<\/p>\n

But she still looked nervous.<\/p>\n

“Go share lunch with your friend.”<\/p>\n

The boy’s face lit up.<\/p>\n

Without hesitation, he grabbed the extra bag and ran to her.<\/p>\n

“I saved this one for you!”<\/p>\n

The little girl’s eyes filled with happy tears.<\/p>\n

“For me?”<\/p>\n

The boy nodded proudly.<\/p>\n

“This time… we both get a whole sandwich.”<\/p>\n

She smiled brighter than ever before.<\/p>\n

Then hugged him tightly.<\/p>\n

Watching from a distance, the businessman quietly wiped away a tear.<\/p>\n

His assistant walked over.<\/p>\n

“I’ve never seen you cancel an important meeting before.”<\/p>\n

The businessman kept watching the two children laugh together.<\/p>\n

Then smiled.<\/p>\n

“I didn’t cancel it.”<\/p>\n

“I attended a better one.”<\/p>\n

As the afternoon sun warmed the park…<\/p>\n

Two children shared lunch.<\/p>\n

One man rediscovered his heart.<\/p>\n
