The Chief Executive nodded.<\/p>\n

“Agreed.”<\/p>\n

The security guard blinked in surprise.<\/p>\n

The Chairwoman continued.<\/p>\n

“He didn’t judge me.”<\/p>\n

“He treated me like every other guest.”<\/p>\n

“He followed company policy with respect.”<\/p>\n

She looked around the lobby.<\/p>\n

“That’s professionalism.”<\/p>\n

The executives applauded.<\/p>\n

Several hotel employees smiled proudly.<\/p>\n

Then the Chairwoman faced the guests.<\/p>\n

“A title should never be required to earn courtesy.”<\/p>\n

Her words echoed through the lobby.<\/p>\n

He stood a little taller.<\/p>\n

“I will, Madam.”<\/p>\n

The surrounding guests began applauding.<\/p>\n

not because of wealth or influence.<\/p>\n

As the Chairwoman turned toward the Executive Suite\u2014<\/p>\n

she noticed a young hotel trainee standing nervously nearby.<\/p>\n
