The little girl couldn’t stop smiling.<\/p>\n

She gently twisted the handlebars.<\/p>\n

Pretending to ride beside her father.<\/p>\n

something caught her eye.<\/p>\n

A small leather patch tied near the front of the bike.<\/p>\n

It showed a silver wolf.<\/p>\n

Exactly like the one sewn onto the biker’s vest.<\/p>\n

She looked up curiously.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Gunter\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy did you put this on my bike?\u201d<\/p>\n

The biker smiled softly.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour dad gave me one just like it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The little girl’s eyes widened.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou knew my daddy?\u201d<\/p>\n

The biker reached into his jacket.<\/p>\n

Slowly pulling out an old photograph.<\/p>\n

Its edges were faded.<\/p>\n

In it stood two young bikers.<\/p>\n

One was Mr. Gunter.<\/p>\n

The other was her father.<\/p>\n

Both smiling beside their motorcycles.<\/p>\n

The little girl’s hand covered her mouth.<\/p>\n

She looked at the biker.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou built it exactly the way my husband always dreamed.\u201d<\/p>\n

The biker smiled through tears.<\/p>\n

The mother looked confused.<\/p>\n

The biker gently tapped the fuel tank.<\/p>\n

Hidden beneath the clear paint\u2026<\/p>\n

was a tiny handwritten signature.<\/p>\n

The little girl leaned closer.<\/p>\n

Then gasped.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t Mr. Gunter’s name.<\/p>\n

It was her father’s.<\/p>\n

The biker’s voice cracked.<\/p>\n
