The man knelt on the cold sidewalk.<\/p>\n

Tears streaming down his face.<\/p>\n

The photograph trembled in his hands.<\/p>\n

\u201cDad?\u201d<\/p>\n

The homeless girl whispered again.<\/p>\n

Afraid to believe it.<\/p>\n

Afraid he might disappear.<\/p>\n

Then\u2014<\/p>\n

the little girl in the cream coat noticed something.<\/p>\n

A faded bracelet peeking from beneath the homeless girl’s sleeve.<\/p>\n

Colorful threads.<\/p>\n

Worn with age.<\/p>\n

She pointed at it.<\/p>\n

The homeless girl looked down.<\/p>\n
