The biker stared at the locket.<\/p>\n

His hands trembling.<\/p>\n

The little girl waited quietly.<\/p>\n

Watching him.<\/p>\n

Then\u2014<\/p>\n

he slowly opened it.<\/p>\n

A tiny photograph rested inside.<\/p>\n

Old.<\/p>\n

Faded.<\/p>\n

But still clear enough to see.<\/p>\n

The biker’s breath caught.<\/p>\n

It was a picture of him.<\/p>\n

Twenty years younger.<\/p>\n

Smiling.<\/p>\n

Happy.<\/p>\n

A life he barely remembered.<\/p>\n

His eyes filled with tears.<\/p>\n

He looked up at the little girl.<\/p>\n

“Where did you get this?”<\/p>\n

The girl glanced toward the road.<\/p>\n

His heart pounding.<\/p>\n

“What’s her name?”<\/p>\n

The little girl smiled softly.<\/p>\n

“Sarah.”<\/p>\n

The name hit him like a wave.<\/p>\n

he couldn’t speak.<\/p>\n

Couldn’t move.<\/p>\n

Sarah.<\/p>\n

The woman he’d loved.<\/p>\n

The woman he’d lost.<\/p>\n

Then the little girl reached into her pocket.<\/p>\n

Pulling out a folded letter.<\/p>\n

Carefully\u2014<\/p>\n

she handed it to him.<\/p>\n

“It’s from her.”<\/p>\n

The biker unfolded the paper.<\/p>\n

His eyes scanned the first line.<\/p>\n

Then instantly filled with tears.<\/p>\n

I never stopped thinking about you.<\/strong><\/p>\n

His hands shook uncontrollably.<\/p>\n

The little girl stepped closer.<\/p>\n

And whispered the words her mother had asked her to say.<\/p>\n

“She wanted me to find you.”<\/p>\n

The biker looked up.<\/p>\n

Hope returning to his eyes.<\/p>\n

Then came the final words.<\/p>\n

The words that changed everything.<\/p>\n

“Because she wanted me to meet my father.”<\/p>\n

And suddenly\u2014<\/p>\n

the little girl wasn’t carrying a memory.<\/p>\n
