The old biker’s eyes fluttered open.<\/p>\n

Pain filled every breath.<\/p>\n

But through the blur, he could see the little girl in the pink dress holding his hand.<\/p>\n

And somehow\u2014<\/p>\n

she wasn’t afraid.<\/p>\n

His cracked lips moved weakly.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho\u2026 are you?\u201d<\/p>\n

The child smiled through her tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy name’s Lily.\u201d<\/p>\n

The biker managed a faint smile.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, Lily\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

His voice was barely a whisper.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou sure picked an ugly old man to rescue.\u201d<\/p>\n

The girl giggled softly.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou look like a grandpa.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nearby, her mother knelt in the grass, still shaken by what they had found.<\/p>\n

Sirens grew louder.<\/p>\n

Then the little girl leaned closer.<\/p>\n

And quietly said something that made the old man’s heart stop.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe said you’d come home this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

His eyes widened.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho?\u201d<\/p>\n

The girl pointed toward the sky.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy big sister.\u201d<\/p>\n

The biker frowned in confusion.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t have\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n

Then he froze.<\/p>\n

Years earlier.<\/p>\n

A hospital room.<\/p>\n

A tiny girl.<\/p>\n

Blonde curls.<\/p>\n

Cancer.<\/p>\n

And a promise whispered through tears.<\/p>\n

“Daddy, don’t stay sad forever.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“I’ll send you somebody.”<\/em><\/p>\n

His breathing caught.<\/p>\n

His daughter.<\/p>\n

Gone for fifteen years.<\/p>\n

The little girl squeezed his hand again.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe says your brothers are already coming.\u201d<\/p>\n

At that exact moment\u2014<\/p>\n

the distant roar of motorcycles echoed through the pine trees.<\/p>\n

One.<\/p>\n

Then two.<\/p>\n

Then six.<\/p>\n

His brothers.<\/p>\n

The Iron Shepherds.<\/p>\n

They had tracked his phone.<\/p>\n

As the motorcycles burst onto the roadside and the men rushed toward the ditch, the old biker began to cry.<\/p>\n

Not from pain.<\/p>\n

Not from fear.<\/p>\n

But because the little girl beside him simply smiled and whispered:<\/p>\n

\u201cI told you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The gray-bearded biker looked at her with tears in his eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow did you know?\u201d<\/p>\n

Lily shrugged innocently.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sister told me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Her mother blinked.<\/p>\n

\u201cHoney\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don’t have a sister.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the little girl just smiled toward the sunset.<\/p>\n

And somewhere in the golden sky, a gentle breeze moved through the trees.<\/p>\n

The old biker closed his eyes.<\/p>\n

And for the first time since losing his little girl\u2014<\/p>\n

he smiled.<\/p>\n

Because sometimes angels don’t arrive with wings.<\/p>\n

Sometimes\u2026<\/p>\n

they wear pink dresses.<\/p>\n

And sometimes\u2014<\/p>\n
