SUVs. Dark paint. No markings.<\/p>\n<p>No noise.<\/p>\n<p>Just presence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat the hell is this\u2026\u201d someone muttered from the bar.<\/p>\n<p>No one answered.<\/p>\n<p>Travis forced a laugh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis some kind of joke?\u201d he said louder than he meant to. \u201cOld man called Uber?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Samuel finally looked at him directly.<\/p>\n<p>And this time, there was no softness in his expression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo,\u201d he said quietly.<\/p>\n<p>A pause.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019re already here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Outside, doors began to open.<\/p>\n<p>One by one.<\/p>\n<p>Still no shouting.<\/p>\n<p>Still no chaos.<\/p>\n<p>Just movement.<\/p>\n<p>Controlled.<\/p>\n<p>Trained.<\/p>\n<p>The kind of silence that only exists when everyone knows exactly what they\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n<p>The bikers inside shifted uncomfortably now.<\/p>\n<p>The energy had changed.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn\u2019t a fight anymore.<\/p>\n<p>It was a correction.<\/p>\n<p>Travis stepped back slightly, eyes flicking between Samuel and the window.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou think you can scare us with cars?\u201d he snapped, trying to regain control. \u201cWe\u2019re not afraid of suits and\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He stopped mid-sentence.<\/p>\n<p>Because one of the figures outside finally stepped into view.<\/p>\n<p>A man in a dark coat.<\/p>\n<p>Then another behind him.<\/p>\n<p>And another.<\/p>\n<p>Not rushing in.<\/p>\n<p>Just forming a line outside the diner like they were waiting for permission that wasn\u2019t needed.<\/p>\n<p>Samuel tapped his cane once on the floor.<\/p>\n<p>A soft sound.<\/p>\n<p>But it carried.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the diner, every biker suddenly felt it in their posture.<\/p>\n<p>The weight of it.<\/p>\n<p>Travis swallowed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWho are you?\u201d he asked, quieter now.<\/p>\n<p>Samuel leaned back slightly in the booth.<\/p>\n<p>And answered simply:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSomeone you should\u2019ve ignored.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A beat.<\/p>\n<p>Then\u2014<\/p>\n<p>the diner doors opened.<\/p>\n<p>Slowly.<\/p>\n<p>Not kicked.<\/p>\n<p>Not forced.<\/p>\n<p>Just opened.<\/p>\n<p>And the first man stepped inside.<\/p>\n<p>He didn\u2019t look around.<\/p>\n<p>He didn\u2019t hesitate.<\/p>\n<p>He looked directly at Travis.<\/p>\n<p>And everything in the diner understood one thing at the same time:<\/p>\n<p>Travis hadn\u2019t been the one testing the old man.<\/p>\n<p>He had been the one being measured.<\/p>\n<p>And the measurement had just arrived.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first car didn\u2019t rush.
