Worn black leather jacket faded from years on the road. A plate of half-eaten burgers sat untouched in front of him beside melting ice in forgotten soda cups. He looked like a man who preferred silence\u2014someone carrying memories too heavy to explain.<\/p>\n<p>Then came a small voice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSir\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He looked up.<\/p>\n<p>Standing near his booth was a young girl, maybe eight years old, with long light-brown hair falling around a frightened face.
