thunderstorm asking for help.

Ghost looked at the child more carefully.

Same eyes.

Same nervous habit of squeezing her hands when scared.

His expression tightened painfully.

“How sick is she?”

Lily lowered her head.

“She coughs blood now.”

Several customers exchanged horrified looks.

The little started scanning the diner through the rain.

The little girl began trembling violently.

“He wants Mommy’s medicine money.”

The biker stood up immediately.

And the entire diner seemed smaller once Ghost reached his full height.

Chairs creaked softly as nervous customers moved aside.

The man outside spotted Lily through the glass.

Then started toward the entrance.

Ghost calmly removed his leather jacket and draped it over the child’s shoulders.

“You stay behind me.”

The diner door burst open.

Wind and rain exploded inside.

The man pointed instantly.

“There she is.”

But the moment he noticed Ghost
