The neon lights flickered across his furious face while broken glass sparkled across the floor beside them.<\/p>\n<p>The older biker stood like a wall of iron.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou got a problem,\u201d he said calmly, \u201cyou deal with me now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The entire bar stayed frozen.<\/p>\n<p>Tom\u2019s eyes narrowed as he looked the biker up and down \u2014 the heavy leather vest marked MALICE, the silver chains hanging across his chest, the scars covering both fists.<\/p>\n<p>This man wasn\u2019t bluffing.<\/p>\n<p>But Tom\u2019s pride wouldn\u2019t let him back down.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou think you scare me?\u201d Tom growled.<\/p>\n<p>Without warning, he grabbed a beer bottle from a nearby table and smashed it against the wooden pillar beside the woman\u2019s head.<\/p>\n<p>The crack exploded through the bar.<\/p>\n<p>Customers jumped from their seats.<\/p>\n<p>The terrified woman cried out as shards of glass scattered across her shoulders.<\/p>\n<p>Tom raised the jagged bottle toward the biker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe belongs to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The biker\u2019s eyes turned cold.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo,\u201d he said quietly. \u201cShe doesn\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then suddenly\u2014<\/p>\n<p>He moved.<\/p>\n<p>Faster than anyone expected.<\/p>\n<p>His massive hand locked around Tom\u2019s wrist with crushing force. A painful crunch echoed through the room as the broken bottle slipped from Tom\u2019s fingers and shattered onto the floor.<\/p>\n<p>Tom screamed in pain.<\/p>\n<p>Before he could recover, the biker shoved him backward across the bar. A heavy table flipped over as Tom crashed into it hard enough to send drinks flying everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Panic erupted instantly.<\/p>\n<p>People rushed away from the fight while chairs scraped violently across the floor. Even the bartender ducked behind the counter.<\/p>\n<p>Tom staggered back to his feet, blood running from a cut above his eye.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re dead!\u201d he shouted.<\/p>\n<p>But the biker simply stepped in front of the terrified woman again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWalk away,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time all night, fear appeared on Tom\u2019s face.<\/p>\n<p>Not because he was losing.<\/p>\n<p>Because he realized the biker wasn\u2019t angry.<\/p>\n<p>He was controlled.<\/p>\n<p>And somehow that made him even more dangerous.<\/p>\n<p>Tom looked around the room desperately, hoping someone would back him up.<\/p>\n<p>Nobody moved.<\/p>\n<p>Nobody spoke.<\/p>\n<p>Every person in the bar had finally turned against him.<\/p>\n<p>Breathing heavily, Tom slowly backed toward the exit.<\/p>\n<p>But before leaving, he pointed directly at the woman.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t over,\u201d he whispered darkly. \u201cI\u2019ll find you again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The front door slammed shut behind him.<\/p>\n<p>Silence filled the bar once more.<\/p>\n<p>The woman\u2019s legs gave out beneath her as tears streamed down her face. She collapsed beside the pillar, shaking uncontrollably.<\/p>\n<p>The biker knelt beside her carefully.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou safe now,\u201d he said softly.<\/p>\n<p>But as thunder rumbled outside and red neon lights flickered through the smoke-filled bar\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The biker kept staring at the door.<\/p>\n<p>Because deep down\u2014<\/p>\n<p>He knew men like Tom always came back.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The biker didn\u2019t move.
