somewhere near the pool tables—

but nobody heard it anymore.

Beer dripped from the stranger’s dark jacket onto the scratched wooden floor while cigarette smoke curled slowly through the stale air.

And every biker in the room stared at the faded crosshair tattoo stretching across his hand.

The giant biker with the gray beard took one careful step backward.

His mocking grin was gone now.

Because suddenly—

he recognized the symbol too.

“…no,” he whispered.

The stranger rose slowly from the counter stool.

Leather creaked softly.

Measured.

Controlled.

Terrifyingly calm.

The plate of untouched food remained behind beside his watch and folded napkin.

No rush.

No anger.

That somehow made it worse.

Silas Creed looked around the room once.

Every face.

Every exit.

Every weapon.

Then back toward the gray-bearded biker.

“You should’ve walked away after the first mistake.”

Nobody laughed this time.

One younger biker near the dartboards frowned nervously.

“Who the hell is this guy?”

The gray-bearded biker swallowed hard.

And answered without taking his eyes off Silas.

“Ghost Team.”

The reaction inside the bar was immediate.

Several bikers visibly stiffened.

One muttered:

“That team got wiped out.”

Another whispered shakily:

“…not all of them.”

Silas slowly removed his soaked leather gloves one finger at a time.

Scars covered both hands beneath the faded crosshair tattoo.

Old burns.

Knife wounds.

Bullet marks.

The kind of hands built by violence.

The gray-bearded biker stepped back again instinctively.

Because now he remembered where he’d seen those eyes before.

Afghanistan.

A desert checkpoint.

Bodies in the sand.

And one government rumor nobody ever confirmed—

that a single operative hunted entire insurgent networks alone after his team disappeared.

Silas spoke quietly.

“You’re Raymond Pike.”

The biker froze.

“How do you know my name?”

Silas tilted his head slightly.

“You sold weapons across three states using dead veterans’ identities.”

The room went dead silent.

Pike’s face drained of color instantly.

Several bikers looked toward him sharply now.

Because that accusation wasn’t small.

Silas continued calmly.

“You buried six bodies in Nevada.”

Pike’s breathing changed.

Fast now.

Uneven.

“How the hell—”

“I dug them up.”

Nobody moved.

Not one sound inside the bar except the buzzing neon overhead.

Silas reached slowly into his jacket.

Half the room tensed instantly.

But he only pulled out a folded photograph.

Then slid it across the counter.

Pike looked down—

and nearly stumbled backward.

The photograph showed six shallow graves in desert dirt.

And standing beside them—

Silas himself.

Pike’s cigarette slipped from his fingers.

“You’re dead,” he whispered.

Silas gave the faintest smile imaginable.

“So were they.”

Several bikers began backing away from Pike now.

Quietly.

Carefully.

Because suddenly the giant biker didn’t look like the predator anymore.

He looked cornered.

Silas’ voice lowered further.

“You made one mistake.”

Pike looked terrified now despite himself.

“You came back to the same bar.”

The front door suddenly burst open behind them.

Cold rain blew into the smoke-filled room.

Then came red and blue lights flashing across the wet parking lot outside.

Police.

Dozens.

The bar erupted instantly.

Chairs crashed backward.

Bikers cursed and scrambled for exits.

But outside—

armed agents already surrounded the building.

“FEDERAL AGENTS! NOBODY MOVE!”

Pike spun toward the rear hallway desperately.

Silas stepped directly into his path.

Calm as ever.

“You really thought nobody survived Black Ridge?”

Pike’s face twisted with panic.

“You don’t understand what they made us do!”

Silas’ eyes went cold.

“No,” he answered quietly.

“I remember exactly what you did.”

Pike suddenly reached for a hidden pistol beneath his vest—

but Silas moved first.

Fast enough the entire bar barely saw it happen.

One brutal strike shattered Pike’s wrist.

The gun clattered across the floor.

A second hit slammed the giant biker through a table hard enough to splinter wood beneath him.

Silence crashed over the room.

Pike groaned helplessly against the broken floorboards while federal agents stormed through the entrance with rifles raised.

Nobody resisted.

Nobody was stupid enough anymore.

One agent stopped beside Silas carefully.

“Target secured.”

Silas nodded once.

That was all.

No celebration.

No satisfaction.

Just exhaustion hidden beneath hard eyes.

An older biker near the wall stared at the crosshair tattoo again.

“…who are you really?”

Silas looked toward the rain-covered highway outside the bar.

Then answered softly.

“Someone your bosses were supposed to kill.”

Outside, thunder rolled across the dark sky while agents dragged Raymond Pike into the storm in handcuffs.

And inside the silent biker bar—

everyone finally understood why the stranger never reacted to the beer poured over his head.

Because dangerous men usually needed anger.

But the truly terrifying ones—

already decided the outcome before the fight even started.

The filthy roadside biker bar fell into complete silence beneath flickering yellow neon.
