The old veteran stood calmly beside his cane, completely unfazed by the shock spreading across the marble hall.<\/p>\n

Charles forced out a weak laugh.<\/p>\n

The assistant beside him swallowed nervously.<\/p>\n

Gasps echoed through the crowd.<\/p>\n

Moments earlier, employees mocked the old man for his worn coat and damaged boots.<\/p>\n

Now nobody dared speak.<\/p>\n

The veteran slowly stepped closer.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was it you said?\u201d he asked quietly.<\/p>\n

Charles\u2019s face lost even more color.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re in the wrong bank.\u201d<\/p>\n

The old man nodded once.<\/p>\n

Then his voice turned cold.<\/p>\n

He looked around the silent lobby.<\/p>\n
