Their truck had been found abandoned thirty miles from the highway with the doors left open and the engine still running.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1086\" data-end=\"1096\">No bodies.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1098\" data-end=\"1111\">No witnesses.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1113\" data-end=\"1173\">Nothing except a single motel receipt from Sunset Pines Inn.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1175\" data-end=\"1183\">Room 16.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1185\" data-end=\"1371\">Daniel remembered the case because he was still a rookie back then.
