Their leader, a giant man covered in tattoos and scars, remained on one knee.<\/p>\n
His name was Rourke.<\/p>\n
And for the first time in years, fear showed on his face.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhere did you get that?\u201d he asked quietly.<\/p>\n
The girl clutched the silver ring tighter. \u201cMy mother gave it to me before she disappeared.\u201d<\/p>\n
A few bikers exchanged nervous looks.<\/p>\n
One of them whispered, \u201cThat\u2019s Elena\u2019s ring\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Rourke slowly stood up. \u201cWhat\u2019s your name, kid?\u201d<\/p>\n

The sound of metal doors shutting echoed through the bar.<\/p>\n
Lily stepped backward nervously. \u201cMy mom told me to find you if men with red markings ever came near the cabin.\u201d<\/p>\n
At those words, several bikers immediately reached for their weapons.<\/p>\n

Everyone in the room knew that name without saying it aloud.<\/p>\n
The Crimson Saints.<\/p>\n
A violent crew thought to be destroyed years ago.<\/p>\n
Rourke\u2019s expression darkened. \u201cHow long ago did they find the cabin?\u201d<\/p>\n
Lily swallowed hard. \u201cTonight.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lightning flashed across the windows.<\/p>\n
Then came the sound.<\/p>\n
Motorcycles.<\/p>\n
Dozens of them.<\/p>\n
The engines growled outside like wolves surrounding prey.<\/p>\n
Every biker in the bar turned toward the door.<\/p>\n
Rourke cursed under his breath.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey tracked her here.\u201d<\/p>\n
The lights suddenly flickered once\u2026<\/p>\n
twice\u2026<\/p>\n
then died completely.<\/p>\n
Darkness swallowed the bar.<\/p>\n
Only the storm outside lit the room in brief flashes of blue-white lightning.<\/p>\n
Lily\u2019s breathing became shaky. \u201cMy mother said if they ever found me\u2026 I should tell you one thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Rourke looked down at her carefully.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat thing?\u201d<\/p>\n
The little girl\u2019s voice trembled.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe said the traitor was never outside the Wolves\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
The room went still.<\/p>\n
A loud bang exploded against the front door.<\/p>\n
Then another.<\/p>\n
Wood cracked.<\/p>\n
Somebody was trying to force their way inside.<\/p>\n
But nobody in the bar looked at the entrance anymore.<\/p>\n
